Wearing your LeMieux leather bootsLeMieux’s leather riding boots are crafted from the finest quality leather and premium materials which need your care to stay at their best.
Putting boots onGently pull zips down the heel as far as possible. Sit down, use a shoehorn and gently pull them on. Remaining seated with feet at 90°, pull zips as high as possible. Stand up to pull zips to the top and secure.
Taking boots offGently pull the zip down to the heel as far as possible and use a boot jack to take your foot out carefully. Using a step or even the other boot can cause damage over time.
Never stand on the bottom of the zips, or brace against them with your foot.
Cleaning and maintenanceLeaving your leather boots dirty, damp or drying them too quickly can cause stiffening and damage.
After every wear, dry naturally and always use boot trees to maintain shape.
For a deep clean, remove the laces if needed. Remove dirt with a soft brush. Use a quality leather cleaner and apply premium leather balm. Buff with a soft cloth.
We recommend the LeMieux Luggage Collection for storage.
