The very latest innovation from Acavallo these Piuma Air Release Pads are precision machined from featherlight thermoplastic. They offer an ingenious combination of incredibly low weight and high shock absorption with a sophisticated ventilation and air-supply system. Pressure is dissipated through the pads interlocking cell structure creating a cushion effect every time the cells are compressed and released. The contours of the cells generate a flow of refreshing air which keeps the back of the horse perfectly dry. This aspect is additionally enhanced by big rectangular cutouts arranged across the entire gullet channel of the pads. An additional layer of foam cells creates an even lift at the rear of the pad to act as a low profile rear saddle riser
The pads in the Piuma range are non-absorbent making them anti-bacterial and very easy to clean. Piuma means feather in Italian and these pads really are the lightest weight on the market.
The active soft gel can be machine washed (30 degrees) or by hand in a bucket of water with little detergent (Fairy Liquid works a treat).
We recommend the use of a wash bag if machine washing, this both protects your machine and prevents snagging on the drum or seals.
Do not use harsh detergents.

Allow to dry naturally.
